Tja!

Fick ett bekymmer igår!

Hade iPoden ihopkopplad med iBook för laddningens skull och startade iTunes i misstag och då synkade den ju med datorn och tog bort ca 1000 låtar!

För det är ej den datorn som den skall synka med! Stängde av automatiska sync nu men är det alltid så ifall man pluggar i iPoden i nån annans dator så att all min musik kan försvinna ifall man startar iTunes?

Kan den ej varna innan att den synkar datorn och iPoden?

Och nu är jag på jobb och har ju ej tillgång till min stora dator som all musik finns på!

Min iPod varnar och frågar om jag vill synkronisera med ett annat bibliotek än mitt eget.

Hmm... Konstigt... Den gjorde ej det hos mig... Den bara synkroniserade ihop skiten....

Iofs har iTunes varit nästan exakt likadana tidigare för jag kopierade allt från ena datorn till andra! Knaske det är det som ställer till det?

Men nu är dom ej alls lika mera...

Answer: Yes. When you first connect iPod to your computer, iPod recognizes that computer as its "home" computer. Each time you connect, iPod automatically downloads the music library stored on it. When you connect iPod to a different computer, iPod asks for permission before synchronizing with this music library. If you choose Auto-sync, iPod recognizes the second computer as its home computer and breaks the link with the original computer. Note: Music on your iPod will be replaced with music from this computer. If you will be connecting to multiple computers frequently, configure your iPod to be used as a storage drive and use manual update mode, allowing you to selectively drag songs, albums, or playlists from the second computer to your iPod.

 

Synchronization occurs only in one direction, from your computer to your iPod. This means you cannot transfer music, automatically or manually, from your iPod to a computer, and you cannot use iPod to copy a music library from one computer to another. But, if you legally are allowed to copy music or other media files, you can configure your iPod as a storage drive to move media files.
