Nej inte bara du Alix. Jag ser att detta beteende och den där tecknen försvinner plötsligt i rutan med inlägg att redigera bara händer på vissa ställen på forumet, "längre upp".

Kanske något allkonstnär @felix-d kan hitta en lösning på? Kanske Bill Gates som gömt sig i server-rummet och busar med Mac-fans?

Vill bara meddela att jag uppdaterat Macworld forum till senaste versionen idag. Det var två maintenance-uppdateringar som mest innehöll buggfixar och liknande. Klistrar in en lista på några av fixarna nedan om nån är intresserad.

Jag har också gjort några små ändringar för att öka bland annat textstorleken i inläggen i samband med senaste forumuppdateringen. Detta för att ge lite bättre läsbarhet.

Där är jag mer skeptisk. Fast det blir bättre till dess att jag får mina nya terminalglasögon... Plus den dagen jag måste byta till Mac OS X 10.14 eller högre (som saknar subpixelantialiasering)...

Jag har precis kommit underfund med det fullständigt meningslösa i att skicka bilagor i PNG-format, trots att den som regel är helt överlägsen JPG både i storlek och kvalitet.

Synd för jag tycker att alla sidor på nätet borde uppmuntra till sundare vanor. JPG är egentligen enbart till för fotografier.

EDIT: Mycket riktigt, forumet omvandlar inte en bilaga i JPG-format till en gigantisk förhandstitt som den gör med PNG-bilagor. Mycket dåligt!

Jag testade för säkerhets skull hur forumet beter sig med bilagor i JPG-format. Mycket bättre! Bilagan blir inte tio gånger större i filstorlek och läggs upp blixtsnabbt.

Slutsatsen är alltså att det inte finns någon som helst anledning till att skicka PNG-bilder som dessutom tar en "evighet" (mycket lång tid) att skicka trots att den är ordentligt mycket mindre i många fall.

Jag hänger inte med riktigt, men jag ser ofta till att det blir jpg, särskilt när det gäller foton, och max 999 px som bredast, annars komprimerar forummjukvaran bilden.

Gigantisk med avseende till filstorleken. Jag har i alla år besvärat mig med att posta optimerad PNG vilket jag ej längre kommer att göra.
