Stor revision av populära Handbrake

Handbrake har blivit version 1.0, med stora förändringar i både innehåll och gränssnitt (se i spoiler). Uppdateringen listas inte om man kör Handbrakes inbyggda uppdaterare.

 

All platforms

General

- New online documentation at https://handbrake.fr/docs

- Completely overhauled the official presets

- New general use presets for broad compatibility

- New device presets, now more up-to-date for common devices

- New web presets

- New Matroska (MKV) presets, including VP9 video with Opus audio

- Official presets from HandBrake 0.10.x are still available under "Legacy"

- New JSON-based preset system including command line support

- New JSON-based API for interacting with libhb

- Improvements to audio/video sync engine to better handle difficult sources

Har testat på dvdkollektionen Morse jag köpte. Skivorna har "hänglås" så jag installerade libdvdcss via Homebrew. Funkar ändå inget vidare. Storleken på filerna spretar och en skiva låser sig på 0,92 procent. Testar den skivan i Linux i stället och där flyter allt på. Jag gör allt mer datorpill av det här slaget i Linux. Det är mer en arbetshäst, faktiskt. Synd att processorn i Linuxburken bara har 60 procent av kraften jämfört med min mini. Men vem har bråttom?

När MakeMKV gör detta så knäcker den (förhoppningsvis) samtidigt kopieringsskyddet. Sedan använder jag Handbrake för att göra mp4 av mkv. Hoppas det funkar, testar just nu.
